This past winter, we broke ground and built our very own fish processing facility — and it’s ready for action!
✅ What We Offer:
- Daily Custom Fish Processing:
We carefully fillet your fish, and can portion it (usually 1.5–2 lb portions) or leave it as whole fillets.
- Kept Cold & Fresh during the day:
Your fish is kept cold on ice, filleted to your preference, vacuum packed, and frozen.
- Clearly Labeled:
Each guest receives an invoice number upon arrival. That number stays with your fish all the way through.
Every piece is labeled with your invoice number, name, date, and species to ensure you receive your own catch.
Processing Rate: $2.25/lb (based on fish weight in the round — before filleting).
Coolers & Travel:
- Bringing Your Own Coolers? Great! We’ll load your fish directly into them upon departure.
- Need Extras? We have:
- Styrofoam coolers available for purchase
- Airline-approved coolers with wax boxes available

How We Keep Your Catch Organized:
- Your daily catch is logged with your name and invoice number
- Each fish goes into your own labeled tote
- Fish is sorted, weighed, fileted, portioned, vacuum packed and labeled, it is carefully packed for your departure
- You’ll receive a complete list of your catch with your final invoice
Fishing Limits in Our Area:
Each guest may keep the following (per BC tidal water fishing regulations)
Total possession limits:
- Salmon: Up to 8 total (max 4 Chinook) (daily limits 2/day/ species)
- Halibut: 1 per person (up to 102 cm) (daily 1 total)
- Lingcod: Up to 6 per person (daily 3 /day)
- Rockcod: Up to 6 per person (daily 3/day)
Fishing on Departure Morning? No Worries!
You have two options if you keep fish:
- Processed On-Site (Same Day):
Filleted, portioned, vacuum-packed — not frozen (freeze at home). - Whole & On Ice:
We’ll gut and bag the fish, keep it cold for your journey home.
Payment & Licensing:
Pay for your processing before departure at the lodge or in processing plant.
You’ll receive:
- Your daily catch list
- Your total catch summary
These documents must be kept during transport, along with your BC Tidal Fishing License
