Last Minute Openings Available NOW!
July 03-06 and July 18-21 (1 boat each date)
Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity!
If you’ve ever tried to book a world-class fishing excursion on the rugged West Coast of Vancouver Island, you already know that prime summer slots are usually locked down months—or even years—in advance. Case in point: Rugged Point Lodge’s 2026 season is entirely sold out.
But today is your lucky day.
Due to an unexpected opening, two dates have just become available for a spectacular 4-day, 3-night ocean fishing trip from either July 03-06, or July 18–21. If you’ve been dreaming of massive Chinook salmon and reeling in heavy halibut, this is your sign to grab your fishing buddies and book before someone else does.
Here is a glimpse of what this bucket-list wilderness trip will look like:
The Experience: Remote Luxury Meets World-Class Angling
Your adventure begins in Fair Harbour, where you’ll leave your vehicle in a reserved parking area and step onto a scenic 40-minute water shuttle. As you cruise into Kyuquot Sound, British Columbia, you’ll be surrounded by towering old-growth rainforests, jagged shorelines, and the crisp sea breeze of the Pacific.
Rugged Point Lodge is renowned for its seamless, all-inclusive hospitality. From the moment you arrive, everything is taken care of: cozy accommodations, top-of-the-line fishing gear, expert dedicated guides, and chef-prepared meals (including hearty box lunches to keep you fueled on the water).

The Itinerary: Non-Stop Action
You won’t waste a single moment after arriving at the lodge. Here is how your days may unfold:
-
Day 1: Arrive at the lodge, grab a quick snack, and head straight out onto the water for an afternoon/evening fish. You’ll wrap up the day with a gourmet late dinner and a relaxing evening at the lodge.
-
Days 2 & 3: Get ready for the main event. You’ll spend 8 to 10 full hours each day guided by professionals who know these waters like the back of their hand. You’ll target heavy-hitting Chinook salmon, massive halibut, and aggressive lingcod.
-
Day 4: Squeeze in one final, exhilarating morning fish before sitting down to a hot breakfast and catching the shuttle back to Fair Harbour.
Go Home with a Full Cooler
The fishing in Kyuquot is legendary for a reason. The Majority of our guests hit their limits on Chinook and Halibut, typically leaving the lodge with between 100 to 120 pounds of pristine, fresh fish per person.
Even better, you won’t have to worry about the messy cleanup. Rugged Point Lodge features a brand-new, on-site fish processing plant where your catch will be professionally handled, packaged, and prepped. They even have airplane-approved coolers for sale right on-site so you can transport your bounty home effortlessly.
Don’t Wait—These Won’t Last!
With the entire rest of the season completely booked, these two boats for July 03-06 and July 18–21 are the absolute last chance to experience Rugged Point Lodge this summer. Whether you want to book a boat for 2 guests or 3 guests, this peak-season slot will vanish fast.
